A lovely setting. The staff were equally friendly and smiling. Impeccable service. Excellent meals, from the smoked salmon to the bone marrow for starters and the Welsh rarebit with chicken and Maroilles cheese, not to mention the burger... I recommend it 200%!

First time dining with my boys, and frankly, we'll be back – a place to remember. The staff were very pleasant from start to finish, taking the time to take our order and never rushing us. The dishes were delicious, made with fresh ingredients (carbonnade, chicken with Maroilles sauce, fish) – a real treat! We also enjoyed eating on the terrace.

For a first experience, it really wasn't the right day! The cook and waitress were replaced at the last minute, and unfortunately, the quality suffered. The bottle of Sancerre was brought to the table already open; the salmon, while good quality, was roughly sliced ​​without having been trimmed beforehand; the side salad and cherry tomatoes were wilted; the lemon slices were covered in mold... The ribeye steak, ordered rare, very rare indeed, was served well-done; the meat was crispy, and the fries looked like they'd been cooked two or three different times... To be honest, I informed the otherwise very friendly owner, who acknowledged the dissatisfaction of his staff. I am giving you the exact feedback I gave him verbally and hope that this bad experience will not be repeated!

We celebrated my wife's 70th birthday with family at this restaurant on a Sunday. The menu features regional specialties. The dishes are generous and delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We went there for the second time yesterday, Saturday evening. We were greeted with a smile, and the atmosphere was very friendly. The food was delicious and served with a smile as well. Extremely long wait, especially between the main course and dessert. Arriving at noon sharp, we ended up spending 2.5 hours there when we were expecting an hour. The waiter found this perfectly "normal" for a restaurant wait time. Other tables left because they couldn't order dessert in time. The dishes: T-bone steak: good Welsh beef: very good, however, it's a shame: only about 150g of cheddar instead of the usual 200g elsewhere Carbonade: average: too sweet Overall, good but too small portions, very small amount of side dishes (vegetables, fries). Desserts: Crème brûlée: good French toast: average/good Profiterole: average "XL" Merveilleux: huge disappointment: tiny and whipped cream instead of chocolate. I've never seen anything like it, and the waiter also found it perfectly normal. This "detail" isn't mentioned on the menu. Atmosphere: Nice decor, relatively quiet, although the other tables were mostly occupied by older people.
