Il Piccolo Mulino

We received a very warm welcome from the team at Il Piccolo Mulino. The chef was extremely friendly, smiling, and attentive. The pizzas were excellent. Perhaps we'll return if we come back to Lille.

Tip: When guests arrive, ask them what they would like to drink as soon as they are seated and give them the menu.

A very nice menu. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The portions are generous despite the thin-crust pizza. The restaurant is small but cozy. However, it's hard to get a smile from the staff… And the service is slow for lunchtime. Reservations are essential!

The food was very tasty, well presented and speedily served. Very friendly staff. I would just caution that staff check for allergies before bringing the small bowl of peanuts to the table. It wasn't a problem for us, but some people have a serious peanut allergy.

The reservation went smoothly. We ordered pasta alla carbanora and pasta carbonara with mushrooms; it was delicious and very generous! The dishes were served quickly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and welcoming. The waitress was kind and helpful. However, they forgot the coffee. This didn't detract from the overall enjoyable experience we had.
