Additional note: If you no longer want to work until the time Google shows, change it. Your sign says the chip shop is open until 10 PM, but we were turned away at 9:30 PM for the second time. This place is becoming ridiculous. As regulars, we are increasingly surprised by the prices. €2.80 for about twenty barely cooked fries is enough to make you wonder, even in times of crisis.

A friendly spot in the heart of Roubaix that's definitely worth a visit. We appreciated the warm welcome from the waiter yesterday afternoon; my visually impaired wife thanks him for his kindness and helpfulness. The beers, a Kwak and a Kamerliet in 33cl bottles, were served chilled for €8.10, unlike in Lille where we usually pay €14.90 for the same quantity.

Very good restaurant, but avoid the terrace... On May 26th, my boyfriend and I went to eat there and were constantly approached by "beggars" asking if we could give them OUR plate, which WE had paid for. The food and service were very good, but we didn't enjoy our meal at all. Avoid the terrace.

Following our visit to Le Broutteux restaurant on Tuesday, April 28th, my grandmother suffered a severe case of food poisoning. After her meal there, her condition deteriorated rapidly. The diagnosis confirmed a severe stomach infection linked to food poisoning. She had to be hospitalized for 10 days, including a stay in intensive care. At her age (80), the situation was particularly worrying. It is unacceptable that a restaurant meal should endanger the health of customers, especially the elderly.
