I came with a friend who'd known this pizzeria since childhood. Honestly, I don't really understand the 1-star reviews I saw. The place is clean. The guys at the counter and in the back kitchen are super friendly. And the pizzas are amazing; you can tell the dough is homemade. And for the price, €34 for two (we ordered the largest size available), I think it's very reasonable. The drinks were even free. I highly recommend this place; I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, this restaurant is going downhill fast. I remember it being better 10 years ago or more. A friend ate there and then got a terrible stomach ache. I thought it couldn't be the restaurant, but then I and three other people had the same experience several days later: vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Then, when I read some reviews where the lack of hygiene was mentioned repeatedly, I understood. To be honest, I saw the kitchen in a terrible state, with cobwebs even upstairs, but I turned a blind eye. Now they've lost several former customers. Too bad for them. I strongly advise you to review your hygiene practices because if the inspection comes, you'll be shut down immediately. I know you'll reply to my review and I won't have the chance to respond. So you'll deny everything I've said, just like you did to others, to have the last word in front of your clients, but this time it won't work. Finally, there are many other issues that could be pointed out, but I won't mention them because they don't bother me and they're none of my business. However, regarding hygiene, I felt obligated to warn people!

The best pizza within a 15km radius! Taste the difference, I go every week... 3 tables on the ground floor and the dining room on the first floor. Try the Don Mario escalope 👀👁👀 with a little pizza bread 👁👀👁🥰

A very disappointing experience!!!!! I was able to watch my pizza being prepared, and unfortunately, hygiene standards didn't seem to be followed. The pizza maker took a tray full of pre-made pizza dough out of the refrigerator, stacked on top of each other, with trays that were visibly dirty. He then started topping the pizza without gloves, right after smoking. When he noticed I'd seen him, he stubbed out his cigarette in the sink. On the counter, there were cans of Eco+ brand tomatoes and mushrooms, and the mozzarella seemed to be of the same low quality. The place gave an impression of disarray and neglect, with cardboard boxes on the tables and a strong burnt smell coming from the oven, which was probably poorly cleaned. The pizza that was served was overcooked, the tomato sauce too acidic, and the mozzarella had a gelatinous texture. The overall quality was really poor. The pizza maker was wearing a very dirty apron and was wiping his forehead with a cloth he then used to clean the counter (not very reassuring from a hygiene standpoint). Furthermore, I was told the card payment system wasn't working, but when I explained I didn't have any cash, the machine finally worked without a problem. This raises some serious questions about the management. I paid €8 for a large pizza, but the one I received was more like a medium, costing €6. I now understand why this place is often empty. A hygiene inspection would be more than welcome, as the current situation doesn't seem to meet the expected standards!

It was great, except the sauce wasn't very thick. I also ordered lasagna, and there was a lot of sauce that wasn't very thick either, but it wasn't a problem with the lasagna since it contained pizza bread and cheese, which thickened the sauce.

The pizza was pretty good, but very expensive. A large 33cm pizza costs €16, while the same pizza in Seclin costs €8.50 and is just as good… I don't understand the price difference, even if the quality is there and the ingredients are fresh in both places. Especially since the price is the same regardless of the pizza, from the most basic to the most elaborate…

Impeccable quality! Incredibly fast service, even when it's busy! If you try it once, you'll definitely be back!

I admit that I ordered through Uber Eats, but that doesn't stop me from commenting on the flavor of the pizzas.... POOR!!! Really not good, and we bought 4 different ones! What is this dough that looks like focaccia or ciabatta... really nothing to do with a pizza... the ingredients are mediocre... frankly, more than disappointed!!! In short, move on, and even more so if you're looking for a Neapolitan pizza... or go to Picard, it won't be any worse! Sorry for you, but it's a fact...

DonMario Escalope is still the best after all these years!

The vegetarian Romana pizza with garlic butter. Delicious! It was my first time, without high expectations, but a pleasant surprise, I'll be back! Reasonable price, no frills.

The pizza was too small for the price. The restaurant was full of smoke and the credit card machine wasn't working.

A friend recommended this place, and for my first time, I'm definitely not disappointed. The quality and freshness of the products are top-notch. The staff is unpretentious, and the family atmosphere is fantastic 👍
